  • Mirror your laptop or PC monitor on multiple displays to aid in multitasking and increase productivity
  • Transfer files to and from a USB thumb drive or external hard drive
  • Charge your notebook or laptop by connecting its wall charger to the USB-C PD Charging port
  • Connect a microphone/headset to record a podcast or listen to music
Special features
  • Ensure the host computer has administrative access in order to change the BIOS settings of the computer
  • When connecting external displays and/or USB peripherals to the video outputs and USB-A port, be sure to connect the PD Charging port last. Failing to do so can result in inconsistent or reduced functionality.
  • Go to the BIOS settings of the host computer and make the following changes: Enable "High resolution mode when connected to a USB-C DP Alt Mode dock"Enable "Thunderbolt Mode"Enable "Thunderbolt Type-C" PortRestrict USB devices under "Allow All USB Devices"Enable Wake on LAN (WOL) under "Boot to Hard Drive"
